The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the TPV mini-module is 6.59% with an average visible transmission (AVT) of 35%.

Westlake Optotech was established in July 2022 and focuses on the research and production of transparent photovoltaic technologies.

In December 2023, the company completed the construction of the 500 m2 clean room and started their research and development on TPVs. In cooperation with Westlake University and Westlake Institute for Optoelectronics, Westlake Optotech successfully achieved a PCE of 6.59% on a 100 cm2-area TPV mini-module. This is an amazing advance for transparent photovoltaic windows.
